Dolby Atmos File Specifications

File Requirements

  • One .ADMBWF  file for each track
  • 24fps timecode
  • 24-bit LPCM audio at 48kHz
  • All deliverables must be conformed and synced to the original stereo reference masters
  • Stereo and Dolby Atmos file must be the same duration
  • Target Loudness value should not exceed -18 LKFS measured as per ITU-R BS. 1770-4.
  • True-peak level should not exceed -1 dB TP measured as per ITU-R BS. 1770-4.

How to Upload

  1. Contact Us: If you're submitting Atmos format for new music, we'll need a few weeks to get this done.
  2. Upload Your Stereo Release: Once we've acknowledged your request, you can upload your stereo master release as usual to the Catapult Direct Portal.
  3. Upload Your Atmos Files: Once your stereo master is approved, you can get in touch with us to upload your Atmos master release directly to our support team.
  4. Review and Approve: Once we've received your Atmos files, we'll upload them to your release and send you a confirmation email letting you know that your Atmos release is ready for review.
  5. Distribution!: Once you've approved your Atmos release, we'll send it to the DSPs for distribution.
  6. Final Confirmation: We'll let you know if everything went smooth sailing!
