Metadata Updates
If you accidentally messed up a release, no worries. We can easily fix some metadata, while core data can't be changed. Check it out:
What we can fix
The following changes can be made with a metadata update:
- Artwork
- Title
- Version
- Artists
- Label
- Release Date
- Credits
- Genre
- P/C Line
- Explicit Status
- Catalog Number
- Territories
- Languages
What we can't fix
The following changes will need to be made with a takedown and reupload:
- UPC
- ISRCs
- Tracklist Ordering
- Audio files
❗️We're currently adding metadata editing functionality to our Portal, so you can process requests yourself! You might see it available in the Portal now, but it is beta, so proceed with caution.
