Apple Digital Masters (MFiT)

Requirements

  1. 24-bit audio files
  2. 44.1kHz sample rate minimum
  3. 192kHz sample rate maximum
  4. Your mastering engineer must be a member of Apple's approved mastering houses
  5. You must supply your mastering engineer's email address registered with Apple

How to upload

  1. Upload Originals: In the Portal, upload the original non-ADM files to your release. The non-ADMs will be sent everywhere except Apple
  2. Contact Us: Contact our support team to let us know you'd like to submit your release for Apple Digital Masters
  3. Upload ADMs: We'll then send you a link to where you can upload your Apple Digital Masters
  4. Submit to Apple: Once we've received your Apple Digital Masters, we'll send them to Apple for review
  5. Approval or Rejection: Apple will review your Apple Digital Masters and let us know if they've been approved or rejected

✅ If approved, we'll replace your original non-Apple Digital Master stereo mixes with your new Apple Digital Masters

❌ If rejected, we'll let you know why and you can upload new Apple Digital Masters for review
